Angry Pain in the *** Suburban AC not working

Hello everyone. I am new and in need of some help if possible. I have a 2000 Chevy Suburban. Way to many miles and I've dumped A LOT of money into it replacing and repairing 20 year old parts the last couple months. Well hubby surprised me with all new speakers (YAY) and we replaced them about a week ago. The AC was working fine up until Friday afternoon I noticed the Front AC was blowing HOT. Like hotter than it normally would if I had the heater on high. And the vents on the top in the back are not blowing at all. I replaced the rear actuator about two years ago, but I am curious if this could be related to replacing the speakers? I did make sure the battery was unplugged when we did this. Are there any other things I should look into to see if I can get this taken care of myself ASAP. Rather than the shop overcharging me to fix it again. (It did this same thing about 3 weeks ago and the shop it was at when they replaced the rear main seal for an oil leak.)

verify if the a/c compressor clutch is engaging when the a/c is turned on. if its not....the charge level may be low...ie leaking.
