Default passive arming of the 07 GM alarm system

OK,
I saw the alarm post and everyone's different advice on what to put in ....I just want to have my truck arm itself after one minute of the last closing door, is there any way to accomplish this ????

You couldjust wait a minute then press lock...kidding see below

I found a Viper product that integrates with the current factory system basically giving the factory fob the full features of a regular alarm system. Here's the link http://www.viper.com/Products/Produc...?ProductID=111

I think he means it arms automatically after you close the door.

I believe he knows it will arm if you hit the lock on the fob before you close the door.

If I press my door lock button (confirms by making a chime) before I shut my door, the alarm will arm itself automatically in about 15 seconds.

Went to a local alarm shop. they too suggested the Viper 330V, the door actuator is not signalling the viper , he said the Viper looks for an electrical sense, either positive or negative and it is not "seeing" the one from the vehicle???
Help
