Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Cool Performance

Forgive me for the sacrilege, I am here for potential answers on my 2008 Escalade. I am a Ford Technician (more sacrilege, I do it for the money people) but I am building my 08 Caddy for about 600-700 whp. Right now it has the 6L80E in it, but I am going to be throwing a built 4L80E in it with a manual valve body. It will be a turbo build pushing roughly 12-15 PSI, and it has a TSP Stage 2 Roller Turbo cam. The diffs are Yukon carriers, and an upgraded ring and pinion set (8.25" 3.73 IFS & 3.73 8.5" 10 Bolt Rear). All that being said, I have one last piece to figure out: the transfer case. I've heard a lot of guys run big power through the BW4472 from the Syclone's and whatnot, but I'm wondering if it'll hold up against the power I'll be making, or if the BW4485 is a better option. Yes, I am looking to maintain the AWD, so I am not currently open to a 251HD or whatever it is that comes out of the duramax's, though I know that t-case would handle the power with ease. Any help with a good t-case that can handle about 800-900ish crank hp (slight overestimate, doing it cause safety) would be appreciated. Thanks everyone

Lots of us do not get into large modifications. Too busy keeping people's cars running vs, people who have vehicles that are running well. As a Ford tech I hope you understand.

hennessey performance does 650 hp superchaged kits in Tahoes, Escalades . I don't think they upgrade the T case in them, at least it's not mentioned on their list of upgraded items.
