I put mine under the passenger seat. I have heard of people mounting in the drivers side rear cubby that houses the jack.

I have 07 Tahoe LTZ, I had the stock sub removed from the center console and had 2 Xtant Amps placed in there, 1 four channel and 1 sub amp. In the rear storage I had a custom box built up for a 10" Boston sub and it is perfectly hidden.

Note if you have power liftgate, 1/2 of this space is used up with the motor. My installer did an awesome job fitting a box in there still.

Now I need to place to stuff the jack and tools!

I wish I did, I stopped by during the progress but didn't have a camera on me. He did a great job building up a fiberglass subbox from scratch and made it fit in the rear quarter along with the liftgate motor. If I took a picture now, it would look like nothing has been modded as the sub and amps are perfectly hidden. Sorry!

If you don't have a power liftgate, you have a lot more realestate to build a larger box. But it can be done either way! The bass response is worth it!
