Question Plastic Seperating from Back of Driver and Passenger Seat

Hi everyone, First post on the Site and I apologize if this topic has already been closed.....So the Plastic on the Back of the front seats on my 07' Tahoe are seperating. The plastic is sliding down leaving a gap, but I am no longer under any warranty. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, are there any DIY fixes that you all have come across. Thanks for the Help!

Welcome to the forum.

My did that after the dealer removed it to replace the heater/fan in the back of the driver's seat. Turned out that they broke off several of the retaining tabs that hold it on. They replace it with a new onew.

Carefully remove yours and see if any of the tabs are broken or missing.

Thanks for the Help. I went out and looked at the seats a little closer and looked like the bottom tabs were not hooked in and the plastic was slipping down. I got those back in and looks good as new.
