Popping, rubbing sound from front
I recently purchased a 2011 Suburban LT Z71 with 62k miles. I've heard a popping/rubbing sound coming from the front end when making a sharp turn from stop (i.e. leaving a parking spot). I've only heard it three times, and only when it's raining. Anyone have a clue what it could be? Doesn't seem that my tires are rubbing.
If it matters, everything is stock. It's only been driven 2k miles since last August according to the service records from the previous owner.
There is also a small whine from the steering column when I turn, but my buddy with the same year Silverado says his has always done that and it's normal.
