Default power locks

I have a 2000 Z71 Tahoe. Sometimes my locks will work and sometimes not. This effects all my doors. Can someone please tell me where the relays for the door locks are located? I looked in the engine compartment and the fuse panel. I'm just assuming this is my problem. I still herethe locks clicking when I move the switch to lock and unlock positions. It also does the samething when I use the remote. Thanks for your help.

Default RE: power locks

Sounds like the power door lock relay is bad to me as well.
The relay is mounted up under the instrument panel above the pedals on the driver side, it is a bit of a bugger to locate.
There are several relays under there the easiest way to find it is to hold your RKE transmsitter and hit the lock button while you are under neath the dash panel and listen for the relay to click.
