Years ago, I knew a guy who could open up the power seat motor and replace the plastic gromet inside that had failed. I called the chevy dealer to buy the gromet but he said that I had to buy the entire motor. Does anyone know where I can get the gromet? Also, I want to replace the grey a/c control ***** but the dealer wants $18 each. Where can I get some cheaper? And finally, my 1997 Suburban came with a key only. Can I get a remote for it?

 

Try the dealer parts for the remote. Try a salvage yard/pick-a-part for the motor. Or look on-line for grommets.
