Default Power steering high pressure line splice

Hit deer and I"m replacing the whole front radiator, evaporator, tran cooler and PS cooler assembly.

Since the high pressure line is directly connected to the cooler with no way to remove, I had to cut the line on the one from the salvage yard. The side of the hose that goes to the pump was crushed.

Can I just splice the high pressure line with a tube barb and hose clamps?

Will i be fighting leaks? Since the high pressure line does attache to the pump via hose clamps, I'm guessing I'll be fine.

thanks

On the power steering it is the return line that is attached with a hose clamp not the high pressure side. You are looking at possible leaks.
