Default Power steering whine

So about 4 months ago I noticed a whinning noise when accelerating but nothing when turning, (the exact noise a power steering pump makes when it’s out of fluid) so I took it in to get serviced, they replaced my power steering pump and a few belts to front. With that being said the noise was still there. I took it in a few more times to bo avail. I started having transmission problems so I thought it would possibly be the torque converter. I had a brand new transmission installed along with the torque converter and the noise is still there. Can anyone give me some info/ solution to the problem or experienced anything similar? The vehicle is an 07 Chevy Tahoe

If the noise is coming from the front of the engine, could be a/c compressor or alternator. You need to pinpoint where the noise is.

I just had my alternator, battery and starter checked this evening and they were all perfect. It deff sounds like it’s coming from the front of the vehicle though. The noise is present with the a/c on and off.

take the belts off and start the engine...if the noise is gone...its belt or pulley related....if the noise is still there...all the accessory driven pulley are ruled out.
If you have a stretch belt for the ac...you will need a special tool or clever ideas to remove and install it.

Use a mechanics stethoscope (or length of heater hose) to listen to each component to find the source of the noise. Please be careful around moving belts & pulleys!
