power steering whine fix
Does anyone know if they have devleped a fix for this annoying problem.

Tahoe Steering Whine
Well, I've got the dreaded wteering whine too in my 2007 Tahoe. Is there any fix yet? I just had it at the dealer and they neaver heard of the problem. They changed the sttering fluid, but the whine is still there.
Any suggestions???

I believe is just a natural sound from any hydraulic pump. It all depends how it resonates thru the bracket using everything it is hooked to amplify the whining noise( Astro vans were the worst if you ask me, just certian earlier models) They do get louder as they age. I think there are conditioners out there but I dont know whats good for car pumps. I just have many years working with hydraulics on amusement park rides.
