Default Problem after replacing ujoints

I replaced both u joints on the rear driveshaft and the next day it feels very sluggish like its dragging or im pulling something heavy. I have to put the pedal down alot farther to get going. Does anyone think these two things are related
after I replaced the ujoints everything was fine. It was the day after when it started feeling sluggish
I replaced them because of bad vibration and it fixed the problem.. truck also has 370 000 km its a 2007

I'd take it for a ride and then get under it and feel the joints to see if they are getting hot. One could be binding if caps are too tight or a needle dropped out of position on assembly.

OH YES, many even experienced techs have been sharp enough to catch the one needle that fell out of the cap on installation..

Unless this had happened to you before, you never think of packing the caps with addl grease to prevent that from happening.

Bingo! Always add grease to the needles.
