Wink Questio on the removal of passanger front and second row bench rear seats.

I'm trying to complete the stereo install in my 2007 suburban. In order to run the RCA wires and remote turn on wire correctly I'm going to have to remove the rear seats and passanger seat. What is the bolt size that's holding down the seats in my truck? I have bench second rear row seats and not the captian chair seats. I've tried searching both hear and google and couldn't anything on this.

why not look at it first, grab a few sockets and see where you are with that.
That should give you a guesstimate on what you have or what you need, Trust me having to get up and get the tool does get old quick but once its done, next time it wont even be thought youll just do it an know exactly what you need to get it done.trust me everybody has done it at one point

The reason why I was asking was because I was going out today to buy a new socket and wrench set. Since I've moved my socket set hasn't been a "Complete" set in a few years. Missing a lot and all of the bits I do have left, just by eye guaging will not fit any of the bolts that are holding down the seats in the truck.

There's a good chance that hardware for the seats is metric.

If you use your tools a lot, then get a good set like Craftsman, Snap-on, etc. If just occasional use, then go to Harbor Freight. Their sockets are a little thicker and won't fit in real tite places but that doesn't happen very often and they do carry a lifetime warranty.

I can't say for sure but my guess would be 13 or 14mm.
You can pick up a full set of metrics at Harbor Freight pretty cheap and in purrdy colors if you have a store in your town.....
