Question about 2012 Suburban?

My first car was a '77 Oldsmobile that had the radio antenna built into the front windshield. It worked great over the life of the car. My '09 Burb is the only other vehicle I've owned since then with it built into the glass. I never understood why any company would use a fender mount - except to save a buck.

That's AWESOME!! My first car was a 78 Monte Carlo that also had the antenna in the windshield. It does make the most sense, and I've never seen vehicle and thought...that antenna really helps the lines of the car.

I had a '59 Impala convertible in high school that had the slanted antenna on one of the rear fins. First mod was to put a matching dummy on the other side. Wished I had that car today.
