Default Question on engine swap?

Have a 94 suburban 4 x 4,5.7 and wondering if engine and 5 speed from a 90 2500 truck will bolt right in easy. I'm sure the engine will, but not sure if the 5 speed will bolt up to transfer case currently in suburban.(auto). Also thinking about putting 14 bolt rear end in instead of 10 bolt. I'm know it can be done just wondering how much modification its gonna take...

Thanks .. Just wondering because I bought the 90 new in 90 .Its a 2500 but with a 1 ton exhaust stock with 6 bolt wheels and 3.73. It was a great truck but has a bad case of rot..Oh the Oswego county snow, and resulting salt, ya gotta love it...

The tranny should bolt right up to the transfer cas ebut it is going to take drilling a hole in the floor, hanging the pedal, some mods, to the cross member, and a new Prom possibly new ECM.

im assuming the 94 is a half ton?the engine will almost be a direct bolt in,the same for the tranny(maybe have to move a few cross members).is the 2500 donor truck a 4x4?there is a great place to help with different applications when mating different parts..www.advanceadapters.com..they are great to work with a very reliable..great choice on the rear(you have done your homework)that 10 is garbage...when you do get your 14 bolt make sure you get the full floater...that is a direct bolt in(except for changing out the pinion yoke...have any pics of your projects...
