Default questions about a lift kit and the stock auto ride components.

so i have a 2001 chevy suburban 1500 lt with a 5.3l v8 that is rwd and comes with stock auto ride components in the front and rear part of the truck. after looking for a very long time i still can not find a lift kit that will fit with the auto ride. can i remove the auto ride components and just add a 6 in lift kit on after that? or would that not work. i’m pretty new to owning this thing and it’s been a real fixer upper so far and im finally wanting to get her looking pretty.
