Default Quick question

Like the title says quick question: How big of a throttle body can be put on a stock 2001 tahoe with 5.3L that has no modifications other than CAI.

Seriously, No one knows. Okay let me ask this then, How big does the stock throttle body measure? Am looking into a performance throttle body but don't want to go too big and kill my flow.

Are you going to change the intake, cam, and exhaust also? Most of these items to enhance performance have to work in conjunction w/ the rest of the system.

A computer reprogramming is probably the cheapest and easiest way.

You might as well open the toilet and flush the money down. There is no benefit to putting a bigger t-body on a unmodified engine. It would be helpful on a engine that is modified internally

Thanks for the info. The tahoe is my dads and right now only has a CAI but he plans on opening up the exhaust and getting some computer tuning.

You still would not need a bigger t-body.
