Default RE: RADIO IS DEAD!!!!!!!! WHY????

I had it happen one time several months ago but it wasn't just the radio, I had no sounds at all. Talk about quiet. Got a good feel for what a quiet ride the truck is. That evening after work, was OK. Never happened again.

02 Tahoe. I had a similiar problem. I would be in the process of driving and the radio would quit playing. After stopping and switching the engine off and back on, the radio would play again. I share your experience, but I too, don't have a solution to the problem.

Cool 2008 Avalanche XM Not Available

My XM is out and has never came back. I turned on the truck after work one night the radio 'popped" and then did not come on. I shut off the truck for a minute then restarted it, The radio cam back on but I could not tune it to XM. I checked with OnStar and they were receiving me fine. I went to my preset XM Channels when I got the message "XM Not Available" It has never reset. Any Ideas out there.
