Radio Shorting Out, car won't start! HELP
please help, looking for anyone with more knowledge than me and my knowledge is zero. recently our 2007 Chevy Suburban (96k miles) has had the radio start shorting out and just turning off while driving it, moments later I could use it again. Just recently my wife went to start it in the morning, and it wouldn't start, no nothing. ten minutes later she tried it again started right up. I'm terrified of being on the wrong end of a parts changing guessing game at the dealership, has anyone seen this or heard of this or have an idea?
Thank you
Thank you
I have followed a video from the makers of the GM lockpick...but I don't know if that video is still active. If you feel comfortable tacking it, I would give it a shot and try to save yourself some money. The worst part for me(and its not even that bad at all) when I first tried to remove the radio is popping out the fake wood face plate with a flat head screwdriver, I was just scared I would scratch or break something, but those clips (i think there are 9?) are pretty sturdy, just don't get all king kong on them, lol. Then the next step just require removing screws, then unplugging harnesses. Good luck!
Found it.....
