Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
Got my new '17 Suburban in August of '17 and only noticed my water leakage problem this Spring when I went to change over my OEM low beam halogen headlight bulbs to LED's. This happened after a day of rain. First time I had opened the engine hood to do anything after rain.
This is when I noticed that some water was sitting on the flat platform near the front of the driver side in the engine bay. This platform is, from what I understand, where a second battery can be installed if required.
Took the Suburban to one of the local GM dealers and all they did was drill some holes in the platform to allow drainage! Needless to say, not too happy. However before going back, am wondering if anybody else with a '15 to '18 Chevy Suburban has experienced the same problem and maybe a solution? Only deviation this truck has from stock is a Weathertech hood deflector.
The photo was taken before the little 1/8" dia. holed were drilled.
