Angry Rear AC Line Issue - 2006 Suburban

I have a 2006 Suburban and the rear AC line has rotted out over the rear wheel. Replacement cost is rough... How hard is the job? Any alternatives - like repair?

Any help would be appreciated- Thanks

speedracer50,

I see that you are asking the forum members for advice. However, I just wanted to let you know that if you purchase a GM part you still receive a warranty on the part.

Thanks Erica,
The price of the part is the problem. I was quoted something like $700 without installation.

Does anyone else have any experience with this issue?

Thanks

speedracer50,

I understand. There are a lot of the forum members who would have information or at least be able to point you in the right direction.
