I have seen some who placed trailer hitch cover bu I haven't tried it. It improves the appearance of the rear bumper especially those with cool designs. Also I have seen nice GMC bumper brackets here: http://www.wholesalegparts.com/gmc-bumper-bracket/

does anyone have a picture of the bracket installed? I don't know what rear of bumper means, is it the part furthest exterior of the truck or is it the back of just the bumper part? I need a visual aide.

I mounted the rear fascia closeout today!! Thanks for all your help. The directions were awful. Here's what I did. I bought 3M Command Strips (The removable mounting strips). I mounted the piece to the top of the hitch cover and adjusted it until the cover fit snug. Afterwards I drilled with it still mounted. It lines up great and I didn't hit wires.... I recommend the Command Strips for anyone else faced with mounting this and want it.

Not sure what the difference would be between a LS, LT, and LTZ on the rear bumper cover.
