Default Installed Rear Bumper Fascia/Hitch Cover, what do you think?

Well my rear fascia cover came in today. I wasnt sure what to think about them. I didnt really like how they stick out from the bumper.

However, after installing it tonight I think it looks very good. The pictures dont do justice. I think this is the best mod I have made yet! It can be removed in about 10 seconds. I love it! It makes the rear of the vehicle look so much cleaner!

Didn't realize it had the trim around the edge. Looks good. Glad you're happy with it.

Yeah, it has the rubber seal. Be nice if it colored matched also! However, I can live with it how it is.

I got the same one. I didnt like it at all at first, but I have since gotten use to the way it sticks out. Plus it looks far better with it on, then without anything.

Now where are you going to stick that little boat propeller thingy?

The gasket is body color if you had got black.

Haha, I am not to sure how good a black hitch cover would have looked.

No, on a more serious not. I wonder if I could paint the little rubber seal? Opinions on this please!

The first question is: Is it really rubber? If it is, probably can't paint it. However if it is more of a plastic-type mat'l, you might be able to paint if you use a flex agent.

I think it is rubber also. However, using a 100% exact matching paint would be a non-flex paint. So I am not sure how it would work. I will look at it again tomorrow and see what I think. But I do agree, it would looke much better painted.
