Maybe it will get better after time when it fully cures. I probably should have waited longer than 10 hours to install it! However, I get anxious!

It isnt the end pieces that dont flex. It is like the area where the end attaches to the big bar. The entire endsection! That area! I probably just need to let it dry a little and then go move it aroundnumerous times hopefully loosing it up.That or maybe some lube right on that area!To much friction (paint)in between the contact area! I dont really mind, I wont use it very often. But it doesnt function 100% effectively!

mzfree is the user name. Here is my auction.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...112&rd=1,1

I noticed he had sold them. He lists them starting bid at 60 and buy it now at 70. I emailed him, he listed a white one for me and told me to bid the 60 and he would then end the auction to the current high bidder. Just tell him there is a guy/friend you know that just got a white one from him and tell him what you are looking for. He is a good seller, ships fast, and replies fast! Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
Thanks for this info

I scraped the paint from the tabs that insert into the slots for that joint. I did tape it off but figured it would be easier to scrape it after than to get the perfect tape job. So I removed the tape and painted it all only to scrape the paint before re-assembly.

Maybe you can take it apart and remove some paint. Wait a little to let the paint cure first though.

I think that is what I need to do! That is the only joint that I have any problems with! By the way, you left that out of your "how to."

No biggie! I actually took it off and trimmed the paint off the areas where it rubbed. You can actually see the spots where it rubs. I am going to now touch up a couple spots, then let it dry. I will leave it off longer this time! HOwever, I tried it after I removed the paint causing the rubbing and it worked perfectly. SO it will be fixed once I finally get it painted to my perfection. Just a couple very minor spots I wanted to touch up. So back to the drawing board! Will be done in a few hours! Thanks again for your help!
