Wink rear license plate position = hate

Does anyone else hate how the license plate on the 2007 and newer models has the license plate smack in the middle of the back? I prefer the older bumper license plate so much more. they are doing this with all cars it seems.
The reason i ask is has anyone modified the plate position on the back with good results?
My suburban is a 2001, so not a prob for me yet but i am growing fond of the newer model and may have to upgrade before long, i just really hate that plate in the back lol.
