I could not remove the rear rotors on a 02 Chevy Tahoe. I assume they are hung up on the e-brake shoes. How can I releive the tension? I unhooked the end of the e-brake cable from the back of the brakes and that didn't help. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks for your help in advance.

Welcome to the forum..
The caliper has to come off before the rotor will come off..
if you are still having difficulty removing the rotor after taking the caliper off, check near the center of the rotor hub, there should be 1/4-20 screw hole that you can use to use a screw to help "push" the rotor away from the hub if its rusted up...
There may also be retaining screws that hold the rotor to the hub....

even with the cables removed from the levers; make sure the levers have moved to the full release position. The levers do seize on and may need to be hammered to the full release position.
i spray the hub and bolt holes with penetrant and smack the rotor hat with a hammer. if they are still hard to remove after hammering or screwing in bolts; there may be an access plug in the backing plate to loosen the ebrake star wheel adjuster. There may be a ridge on the hat of the rotor that the shoes are catching on.
