Tahoe - No interior power and now won't start
Hello everyone,
Hope you can help me out here with some advice because I have been reading the forums for a while now and trying to figure this out.
About two days ago, my wife let me know that our 2011 Tahoe had "no turn light sounds, no stereo, and parking assist off" message. Hoping it was a "computer issue" that I read about, I disconnected the ground, cleaned the area off, and reattached. Still had the same issues after letting it sit for a while. Next day, same issues come up, but the gear light indicator wasn't working and neither was the speed indicator. I try one more time of double checking both positive and negative, and then just the original errors come up (park assist off, no interior sounds, etc.) And now to today...car is dead, won't start at all.
Is it the battery (still on the original from 2011)? Alternator, fuel pump or something screwy that I just have absolutely no clue about? Trying to get a feel for what I should be asking or looking for before I send it to a the shop. Thanks for any help!

+1 for checking the battery/charging system... the newer vehicles have so much demand on the battery/electrical system that at extended idle the battery can be drawn down
Given that your battery is original and is 4 years old, I'd suggest replacing it....
