Default Remote start & wheel swap question

Hello all. I have a 2003 suburban love the truck since the day I got it. I learned the previous owner had a remote start in the truck and it's still all there bypass and all but I do not have any remotes for it. On my 02 Tahoe I also have a remote start and to enable it I just press the lock button three times. Is there a way to make the suburban do the very same? It's not the best of remote start set ups it's a ultra start. I picked up a newer fab online for a Chevy with factory remote start so it has the extra button at the top of the remote could I program this remote to use the remote start button?

Second question is my 03 has the 08 style 20" wheels on it and look great completely changes the trucks look love them as well but I get that annoying dash code for tire monitors I tried going through the steps to reset them but I'm sure that's not going to work is there a way to put the right monitors in the tire? Or how do I even know if my tires even have the sensors from the 08 in there? The valve stem looks normal like every other one.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

The TPMS on the GMT800 (yours) and the GMT900 (20" wheels) are different and I doubt there is any way to make them compatible.

I thought it was just a part of the valve stem. No one has found a way to make them compatible? So every one who puts after market wheels on there trucks has to deal with that message? Or is there a way to disable that message from showing up every time I start the truck?

it can't be disabled. You will need 4 of the correct tpm sensors and have them registered to the vehicle.
Some gm wizard may be able to program the option out, but you may lose other options and good luck finding that someone.

You will need the correct fob for the remote start system installed on the vehicle. I've been down that route; buying a missing remote for a new to me car. After tracking one down, the remote start module didn't work. I ended up putting in a new aftermarket system that worked for 2years then nfg.
