Default remove 2rd row seat with button folding seat electronics are unhappy

I want to remove the 2nd-row seat from my 2023 Chevy Suburban. The seat has a button to fold and flip the seat by motors in the seat.
If I unplug the plug under the seat, the check engine service light comes on. Having the light on because of the seat hides it usefulness to flag other engine problems. bummer.
Is there a plug I can buy or a wiring diagram that I can use to make a plug, that will make the computer happy and not turn on the check engine light?

Thanks in advance for your time.

check engine light? That's strange.
are you sure it's not the air bag light?

If the engine light comes on then surely that's a defect. Take it back to the dealership.

No. It was definitely the check engine light. There are no airbags in the rear seats. There are side and top airbags that come out of the ceiling.
If I take it to the dealer, he will charge me $69, to read the codes and tell me there is a problem with the 2nd row seat. Duh, and to plug it back in.

airbags aren't the only equipment modern cars have.
Seats often have things like presence sensors, and seatbelt pre-tensioners. Those are all components of the suplemental restraint system (SRS) and unplugging them will illuminate the airbag light because it won't work properly.

If the problem is related to a manufacturing defect, then they cannot charge you. It's in your warranty contract.

Is it bolted down, or quick release? If you're not supposed to remove the seat, it will say so in your owners manual.

I'm not going to explain how to defeat the system on this forum. That would be irresponsible.

Since the seat will be removed, presence sensors, and seatbelt pre-tensioners are irrelevant. As stated it is the engine light, although not previously stated, the SRS/airbag light did not come on.

Where can I find a wiring diagram for the 2023 Suburban?

https://www.acdelcotds.com/subscriptions

your local public library might have a subscription

You can also check on gmupfitter.com

I would run a diagnostic scan to see what the actual problem is, since it's not related to SRS
