Default remove headrest

I need to remove the headrest from a 1997 suburban to install a seat cover - there is a small hole on the base of each headrest but no button - any ideas on how to remove it? Thanks in advance

It sounds like the button is broken off. Try inserting a small screwdriver into the hole to press what the button did.
