Default Remove Running Boards

Son has 95 Tahoe 2 door--it has chrome-ish running boards. Want to remove them. See lots of bolts-some with allen wrench heads. See some tubes that look like suppots of some sort. How does he remove them without ripping the thing appart. Would like to re-sell the running boards if possible. Thanks

Default RE: Remove Running Boards

Usually the boards/tubes are attached to brackets that are attached either to the frame or the underside of the body behind the rocker panels. Best to just unbolt the brackets from the frame/body and leave the brackets attached to the boards/tubes.
