Has anyone replaced seats without airbags with newer seats that have the side bolster airbag? The seats in my 2007 Suburban are not as comfy as my wife's 2013 Yukon XL. I found some used seats but they have airbags and are heated and cooled. My current seats are heated and do not have airbags. Wondering what the effort is going to be or if anyone has been down this path??

 

have a look at the connectors under the seats for both models. if they are not the same it may be easier to swap the old seat frame with wiring onto the new seat bottom and back.

I just did a seat swap on my ford and due to differences in module communication, the passenger presence system, seat position sensors it was easier to keep the old wiring plug and play.
