I have a 2004 Suburban 1500 4WD LS with only 105k miles on it. We are going to be selling it soon. It runs great and the only issue is that is showing rust (shock) in the rocker panels and at the bottom of 3/4 of the doors. Does it make sense to have the rocker panels rhino-lined before we sell so we can get maximum dollar?

 

probably not. the quote to do my rocker panels was $700. the finished product was fantastic however. for the product to adhear properly, the paint must be scuffed up with a fiber wheel, the wire edger strip applied and then the entire truck must be masked. It must be applied thick to adhear the rocker. Took me 4 hours. start to finish as I ended up doing it with a coworker after bawking on the quote.

 

Seems like a lot of work just to sell it.
