Rim and Tire Question

Rim and Tire Question
New to this so forgive me for any mess ups, I have a black 2007 Tahoe LT with 20" rims on it currently. I am looking to put the black Tahoe PPV rims one my truck, which to my knowledge are 17" rims. Has anyones else done this? Am I going to need a wider tire to make up for the smaller rim? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I will provide any additional information you may need as well. Secondly, anyone know where you can order the Tahoe PPV rims, without having to buy the entire Tahoe!

Your OEM were P265/70R17, which are 31.7" diameter.
It'd be better if you kept as close to that diameter as possible.
Just go to TireRack, type in a size, then click on "specs" for a given tire.
You can read the diameters of them there.
