Exclamation Is this a ROD knock or a LIFT??

So my 93 Suburban was have a small ticking noise i did not think anything of it well today i was headed out of town everything was good then i had this big knocking noise LOAD so i stop and killed it waited and started it up and was still bad so brought it back home slow what do you think my problem is here a video of it

Wow now that is not a sound you want to hear... sounds a bit like an exhaust leak as well but it seems to loud to me to be lifter...I suspect rod...

That is exactly how my 99 sounded when I got it. Nothing a re-manufactured crankshaft and bearings won't fix....

Yeah I was thinking it was a Rod knock myself but was hoping it was something else it has a weird whistle noise because the video thanks for the Reply's

sorry it defentily sounds like a rod. But there is possibilities it could be a cracked flywheel or the harmonic balancer might have came apart chevys are known for both and they can sound just like a knock i would check the balancer first just to be safe
