'04 Tahoe, want to remove the cross bars from the roof rack to be easier to wax the top. How do they best come off ? Thanks. *BW*

 

After waiting for about 4 days and 120 have read the question I just gave up waiting for a simple answer to the question. I went to another similar forum and quickly saw more than 6 answers to the same uncomplicated question with very good descriptions on how to do the job which I have just finished doing.
