Several months ago there was some discussion re: aftermarket console for the 2nd row buckets. I mentioned that I was looking at a couple at JC Whitney and Scott McK asked for pics if I got one.

It fits snuggly in the recess between the seats. Not sure if I'll bolt it down but probably will. Great place for headphone and remote storage.

 

Looks good shark. I has the same console in an old car of mine. I bought it at Wal Mart for $30.00.

If you are going to keep it in your Tahoe, I would definately secure it permanently. Otherwise it may wind up in the back of your head if you get into an accident.

That looks good, what color are your seats? How does the color of the console match your seats? looks like it matches close.
name / model # for the console?

Frosty: Interior is Ebony. The console is JCW P/N ZX505509U and is black. There's another one that I considered: P/N ZX498066W and it was charcoal which was why I didn't get it.

engine2: Yeah I thought about that also & will secure it. The Darwin Award always comes to mind when I see these guys going down the road with those big speakers sitting on the package shelf behind the rear seat. Will try not to drill into anything vital. Will scope out the underside when I install the exhaust.
