Seized 5.3 engine swap questions
Hi all,
I'm an avid Ford Truck guy but bought an 07 Tahoe about 4 months ago. Still have my F250 but got the Tahoe for my wife. So far we love it.
On another note, my friend has an 03 Suburban with 90k miles and the 5.3 engine has seized due to an oil pump failure. Friday I am helping him put a used 5.3 engine in it from an 03 Avalanche. Should this be a direct swap? Any tips or pointers? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
Thought it was her Tahoe.
While it would seem that they would swap and probably will mechanically, electrically is another question. Someone else on the forum can probably help.
