Show your hoe/burb! Post them pics boys!
Greetings all,
Finally broke down and traded in my 06 sierra denali on an 07 tahoe last month and I have to say I am loving it and this is my first post finally.
I ended up buying an LT1 4WD mostly because of price, but also because I wanted to be able to make customizations without basically changing out what I paid the extra money for in the first place. I bought the 4WD because I enjoyed the AWD from the sierra denali and wanted to make sure that I still had that option available. Of course for customizing it also gives me the option to go up or down.
Over the past couple weeks, or I should say over the next couple days after I bought it I completed the following changes:
Exhaust: Flowmaster 3 chamber, good medium sound, but keeps cab noise down.
Suspension: Groundforce 9977, 1.5" drop in the front and 2.75" drop in the rear
Wheels: 24" Boss Motorsports 330B
Tires: Nitto 420s 305/35/24
I was originally going to put my Pioneer AVIC-D3 into my Tahoe, but for some reason I really like the new factory DVD NAV systems. I just purchased my head unit and now going through my options with the non-bose integration for this DVD unit. I will probably just use the aoem-1416 and change out all of my speakers and add amps, but I have been keeping my options open to the Rockford 3SIXTY.2 or JL Audio Cleensweep, both created for factory integration. I haven't completely decided on which components I am going to use, I am leaning towards the new Alpine amp line though. Well see...
Here is a couple pics (Terrible from a cell phone) I was unloading my factory 20s from the back and I had my camera on the rear bumper....Stupid me, I closed the lid down and crushed the camera. Oh well

JD.Tahoe,
Your ride looks nice. I had a cleansweep installed on my system and hated it. The cleansweep made my chimes/turn signals amplified so I decided to get a head unit. Now I need to still get the harness to get my chimes back, onstar, and rear sensors activated, since they got deactivated when I replaced the radio. Not sure if this harness amplifies our chimes or not, but I'm going to try to get it installed soon.
Do some research on the cleansweep and what are the pros and cons. I had a bad experience.
Regards!

I might as well add our 07' Hoe to this long list super SUV's. Here's a few pics of our baby. It's all stock with all GM add ons. It's an 3LTwith power rear lift gate, chrome steprails, all weather rubber mats plus rear cargo tray, molded mud guards, sun roof, six disk (no nav), no third row seat, bowtie exhaust tip and chrome grill.
