My 2007 suburban started smoking from under the hood while idle. When i open the hood the smoke is coming from the ac area. I’m no mechanic so I don’t know car parts but it is alarming. I circled where the smoke comes from. What could it be?

That is the high pressure line going into the firewall (evaporator) and the low pressure line which attaches to the accumulator. But underneath in your picture looks like a low pressure switch, which is more likely to leak refrigerant (the "smoke") than the line connections.
