I'm trying to get a better idea on the mpg this car gets, i dont exactly trust the salesmen so i'd rather get my info from Taho owners. If you guys wouldnt mind could you post the year/model type/ average mpg please? i really would like to know this info before purchasing
1st of all this is not a car...it is a truck and gets truck gas mileage so be ready.
2007/LT3/2wd/3.42 rear end
this is what we average - yours could vary but if you drive easy I would think you could fall into this range
all city - 14.5 - 16.0
mixed - 16.0 - 18.0
all highway - 19.0 - 20.5

"car" is correct because it's ambigious at best.
however the Tahoe, specifically is an SUV:

The Chevrolet Tahoe (and very similar GMC Yukon) are full-size SUVs from General Motors. Chevrolet and GMC sold two different-sized SUVs under their Blazer/Jimmy model names through the early 1990s. This

My 2007 5.3 4wd gets 12.9. All the time. I do mostly city driving. If I go on a long trip the 12.9 on DIC goes up a little bit. If I reset the DIC before a highway trip I get around 16.
