Sound coming from speaker in head liner
When things are all in writing, it's sometimes hard tosee or hearthe tongue in cheek. Shame too -- a lot of the time you can sure hear comments passing over heads.
Im just jealous, I don't have a "Turboevacuator Fan" that whistles atme while I drive........I'm upset........I just want to feel sexy.
All BS aside, I would take your little bill back to your GM or SA and ask that they re-look into your problem and ask for a refund. Take em for a ride and let them here the "superchager dohicky."

If you look straight up while seated in the driver's seat - you'll see it. It looks like a microphone or something. Anyway, it started buzzing about two months ago in my '07 Tahoewhile I was stuck in traffic and I have to say it was pretty lound and annoying. I said "what the heck is that!!" I pulled the doohickey down slightly and it stopped buzzing. Never happened again, you could actually push up to start noise and pull back down to stop.
FIXED!
FIXED!
Here we go again!!
That is not a micorphone nor is it a speaker. That is a fan to take in air for the climate control. It samples the air temp.
I believe the microphone is in the overhead console. There are small slits in the corner.
