Default Sound set up help

I am looking into upgrading my sound system. The hoe came stock with the bose system but it's not really doing anything for me.

I will be adding a pair of memphis 12" 15 Pr-124d or M1
They will be powered via memphis mcd-1000 or Prd-1000 running through the head unit .
I am retaining my third row seats with this nice encloser i bought in my uncles shop.

I also want to upgrade the speakers with either INFINITY KAPPA 60.7CS 6.5" COMPONENTS or
BOSTON ACOUSTICS SX60 6.5" COMPONENT SPEAKER .

do anyone had experiance with this components speakers?

or any recomendation.

Yeah I do, go with the Polk Momo MMC6500 for about the same money they handle a lot more power, hit very hard and have a smooth and crisp high end.

Or perhaps an IDQ or IDMAX...that's what I'm hoping to go with. I plan to get the same Memphis amp as well.

I was referring to the sub, not the components. I don't know what the cost is, but Arc Audio speakers/subs are good, perhaps the Alpine Type X components...not sure on the price of those either.

jophilpott yes i did understand you were refereing to the subs....
i am kind of set with the subs- even though my uncle said they were garbage and recomended rockford fosgate of all things.

i had on previous cars , kickers L7s,JL w7, Diamondaudiosand i love them all .. but you need a box the size of the whole cabin to fire them right. I really like the idq's but my uncle can't get them . Believe it or not i like the bass that the bose system provide but if i am going to change the mids, just change the whole set up

I have had JL's and IDQ's in my last 4 vehicles. I would always try the JL's first in all setups. Everytime I ended up ebaying the JL's and went with ID's. They are SOOOOOO much better in my opinion! I dont care what box, what amp, ID's are the SHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTT.

Would anybody have a list of the speakers that come in with this Bose system, sizes and location?

The sound is not very good at all with the OEM setup.

Thanks.

My cousin just called from the dirty south and told me to go with the eminence alpha a6 .
Even though they are used for guitar boxes and all.
He basicly told me that everyone in the south is really pushing them in there suvs because of the great sound quality and they are very loud and cheap.. i found them on ebay for like 35 each. All i need to do is match them with some good tweets.
Even though i trust my family opinion - i dont want to installed them and then redo the whole system.
anyone inthe board have use this brand. I will try my local shop to see

Never heard of them, but usually something that'd normally not be used for a car audio application may not be the best option...
