Default Spark Plug loose?

Hey everyone,

Newish to car mechanics but I've got a few things under my belt.

I noticed when looking under the hood the other day one of my spark plugs seems to be moving. See this video:

(note video is still upload as I'm submitting this)

I'm not sure if it's the actually plug thats moving or just the housing (aluminum) which is loose. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? Any proposed solutions?

John

The dancing spark plug!

It's probably loose.

Pull the boot, remove the plug, apply anti-seize to the plug, reinstall, torque to specs and re-attach the boot.

Thats weird but the solution is obvious. Pull the boot and remove the plug to inspect it, then put it back and tighten it up, replace boot and go about your day.

I would say it could be possible that the ceramic cracked but I don't see how it could hold together well enough to run properly.

Be very thankfully this isn't one of the plugs in the back near the firewall.
