Default Spark Plug Wire

How do you remove the spark plug boot with the metal jacket around it from the plug? It does not want to come off. This is on a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. Thanks

pull hard. seriously. they make a tool just for this to that grips the boot, but if it's on there that good, you might expect to replace the wires cause it will probably break.

Also try rotating it back and forth a little to make sure it's not stuck on.

Put some silicone grease in the boot to prevent it from sticking next time. Also helps keep moisture out.
