Squawks and Resistance
Just a question-Is it doing this when you turn or when you turn and put the brakes on? I had an issue where if I put my brakes on it a sharp left turn, the abs activated at low speeds. Ended up disconnecting the speed sensors and that solved the problem.
No, brakes were never involved. My statement was that (apparently) because of the complete lock between the front wheels, when I turned, it literally stopped the vehicle, and it doesn't take long to do that either. One has to apply quite a bit of throttle, to overcome that and keep going. It's pretty clear NOW, why they say don't use 4x4 on dry pavement ! !
As far as the 4x4 Auto...
That seems the way to go, if you are driving across various surfaces. Just let it do what it wants to/what's needed.
But, does it select HI or LO 4X ?
I remember reading that you should drop your speed below 3 mph (I think it said) before you change "modes". Does that apply to "Auto", or will it auto-engage the 4X4 mode, at any speed ?
