Default Stablitrac/Traction Check Lite

2007 Tahoe LTZ with 30,000 miles.

The Stabilitrac/Traction Control Check Lite came on and stayed on. I stopped and turned the engine off and restarted the engine, the Check Lite stayed on.

Stopped for supper and the Lite was off when I started the Tahoe to come home.

Do I have a problem coming. I will appreciate your input.

I just got the same indicator on my 08 Sub w/ 29K miles.
I turned the car off and the lite reset, but it came on again after a few miles/

I had this happen also on our 07 Tahoe. both lights were on and the truck was not driveable. I turned it off for a few minutes then restarted and everything was fine. It does talk about this in the manual - so many sensors have to talk just right for everything to work

Make sure your tire pressures are equal.

Try disconnecting battery for 10-20 minutes to reset computers.

The chk brake lite came on in conjunction with the stabilitrak lite so I checked the master cylinder and found the brake fluid was low.
After filling it, everything is now fine.
