2000 z71 tahoe 5.7l with 90k all original been sitting bc of bad water pump since 2019 I put new battery in it new starter new water pump and thermostat it had abt 1/4 tank of gas in it already I added 10 gal of fresh gas to it and it will crank and run for 1 sec and then die. Everytime it will do this and when I try to give it throttle it's like it's unresponsive! I need help bc I bought the truck 4 hrs away from. Home think was gna be easy fix and drive it back but now it won't stay running! Could it be the passlock security system bc when I did install the new battery the alarm went off!! But I had left and came home bc it was already midnight and I just found out about the relearn on it where u slightly crank it leave it on the run position 10 min the turn off and repeat that 3x so I was gna try that but I also bout a 2200 ohm resistor and was gna try to by pass the security system if the relearn doesn't work!!?? Also I read a put the passlock modules going bad bc of cheap design and they are pretty expensive so my question is would by passing the system with the resistors make it to where that is not needed? And if anyone has had this issue b4 and fixed it plz lmk what ypu did thanks again 1 owner fl truck 90k miles original motor nd transmission
