Default Steering issues..

2005 Tahoe 2 wheel drive new to me. Feels like some "chatter" in the steering when turning. Almost if there is something loose. Felt more at slower speeds. Feels normal going straight. Rotated tires with no change. Can't find anything loose underneath. This is felt up through the steering column almost as if the steering is fighting itself. Seems to be more pronounced turning left. Only 27000 miles. Original Firestone tires. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Might have the intermediate shaft checked as there was a persistent problem w/ them for that body style.

I took my wife's 2004 Tahoe in and they now replace the shaft w/ a new design. Did for free under customer appreciation. Maybe all of those donuts are starting to pay off.
