Default Stock 2005 Suburban Bigger Tires

I recently tried to find some answers on how much bigger I could go on my 2005 Suburban with stock suspension but couldn’t quite find a clear answer.

I put 275/70R18’s on mine and they fit great with no rubbing even at full steering lock. I’m not sure if they would rub at full suspension compression or not but speed bumps haven’t caused any rubbing issues.

most threads with larger tires have at least a modest lift so hopefully this info helps someone.

Those are technically 33s right? I’m looking to fit 285/70/17 on my 05 at stock height. I had 285/45/22 when I bought it and hated the 22s so looking to add beefier tires to my 17 inch steelies
